We Are Experts on the New
Government Vendor Application Process

Do You Know?

The General Services Administration (GSA) has implemented a Vendor Approval Program - GMAS.

G: The United States General Services Administration
M: Multiple (many contractors, usually at least 1 per region)
A: Award (contracts specifying prices and terms)
S: Schedule (the list of products and services offered)

GMAS provides government buyers with a streamlined, standardized, and cost-effective way of approving vendors.

Vendors are placed in a GSA buyers' database for immediate government buyer access, once they are approved.

Other government agencies, including state and local government agencies and contractors, are beginning to use this database to locate vendors.

Vendors submit offers, or proposals, in response to one or more solicitations. Offers need to be technically compliant, priced reasonably, and follow specific government regulations/clauses. A few examples of solicitations include:

  • Management and Support Services
  • Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS)
  • Engineering Services
  • Temporary Clerical/Professional Services
